there are some projections of cost from 8 years ago in this article which should give you a guidepost for what things might cost today https://www.espn.com/blog/playbook/dollars/post/_/id/2664/title-game-sponsorship-cost-could-double

No matter the price. Does the sponsorship come with a suite for executives to watch the game? Yep it does

It felt good to be associated to the national championship game. Go AT&T.

Top exects love going to these types of events. Spending company money gets them in without them opening their own checkbooks. They get to rub elbows with the leftist elite this way.

marketing has an unlimited budget. got to get the customers into contracts so then we can do some creative accounting and then not serve them.

Yeah we know, the big wigs will head to the masters and stroke each other in the locker room. Just like when they were in college.

Why is ATT sponsoring an event like this in the middle of a pandemic? Its not a good look for us.

"ATT, only COVID spreads farther than our network"

But then the Stink won't be able to take his good buddies on the BoD to the game on his Corporate jet!

No hardships for the Stink!

Understand a balance sheet before opening your mouth with stupid questions like this. Mobility revenues are solid and Corporate Sponsorship events like this are necessary. If your segment of the business (wireline) does not contribute to the bottom line, then cuts will have to be made.

If the Corporate Sponsorship org has $ in their budget why wouldn't they do it? This is a prime example of someone commenting without fully understanding how budgets work across the various Business Unit and Segments. Shaking my head.

Marketing and advertising have a budget, just like every other department. It would be silly NOT to sponsor it.

Don't be stupid all your miserable life! T has sponsored sporting events for decades because they can! Case closed!

T can always spends money until they can't. T has been complaining about the budget concerning the work force for 20 years. Now we have 1/10th the workforce but no real change in management above a 3rd line.
