Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Company run by id--ts

On the phone with benefits center for 20 minutes. Apparently the paperwork I send in for dependent verification was received and confirmed. But... only my spouse's medical was verified, not life insurance, dental and vision.

Sleazy car sales guy is completely shocked to learn that you want to buy a car with all 4 tires, smh. You can tell a lot about a company from how they treat its employees, don't be a T customer, better business else where.

Shame you can't opt out some of the benefits and get a bit more $ like it is claimed on Your Rewards statement.

I believe those employed at the Benefits Center are outsourced non-ATT employees. Their level of information is based on the scripts they’re provided. If you ask a detailed question, in most cases, they cannot address. Not making excuses; but most large corporations have Benefit Centers that are outsourced…and typically they are US based.

I had a horrible experience with benefits, several calls made, disconnected, couldn't understand the people I spoke with. Took almost 5 tries to get my issue resolved. Received a survey & blasted them, for what it's worth.

Same thing happened to me. I uploaded all the required documentation the day I received the notice. Guess I'll see if my wife's dental claims are processed the next time she goes to the dentist. I still received two requests for verification via mail even after I uploaded the documentation. And another request after I was verified.

OP here, notice send by mail only, online status reflected verification complete. Be extremely diligent so you don’t get f’ over. I told my manager straight up, the more time spend on this type of bs, less time spend on real work.

It's intentional.

They deny everything by default, then grind you down by running you through appeals processes, stalling, misleading, and eating up your time

truth - leadership is just taking the money and running they don't care what they leave behind.

remember like the id--ts on here say just smile and cash the check.

and they wonder why the company is in the shape it is in.

T hr leadership should be ashamed of the benefit center performance

Always expect the worst outcome when dealing with T. Seldom, if ever, do they get it right.
