Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Jan 4, was any action taken?

Was the mandate upheld? Was anyone let go or leave on Jan 4?

Minneapolis location. If you were approved for a religion or medical exemption. You weren't let go Friday. Everyone else was put on an unpaid leave.

You have 30 days to comply. If you don't, you have resigned and you will not collect unemployment.

Just want to state the facts correctly, for those who are left. Left. Expect major overtime. Until they can feel the positions, God, I'm glad I'm getting out of this company.

Yes, I am happy he was laid off cause he was so dump to not see the train coming and insisting to follow non-sense trend of stupid fox-new followers. I am happy for him cause he learned from this lesson. He is going to talk to his doctor about taking the vaccine., and depending on the discussion, he will look into it as it's hard to find jobs anyway without a vaccine. He learned the lesson, which is why am happy for him. Time to protect himself and family.

So you are happy your friend was fired because for what ever reason he did not think this forced medical procedure was best for him. You sound like a great friend.

Another confirmation from a friend that he got terminated on Friday for confirming that he is not going to comply even after the 30 days period. There is another note in this site on another employee who was terminated.
I guess the notes to management is working perfectly.
They are interviewing people like never before and sending offers in preparation to replace the unvaccinated with vaccinated people.

They will be calling those employees Monday asking them to come back to work.

The noted worked perfectly. No stupid single employee will be allowed on site until they comply or get fired. 2 employees got fired today for stating that they are not going to comply even after 30 days. Hopefully more of u will be out and let’s see of fox news may hire to clean shoes at the entrance:)

I'm guessing that the "notes to management" did not work as effectively as they planned. Maybe you should worry keep the worrying about other people to yourself hahahah. Crying will not work this time.

My site announced that the new deadline is Feb. 9th. Anyone who go an exemption does not need to do weekly testing until then. This was in an email communication. I also heard they are looking into bringing the testing back to the site, and doing weekly testing for everyone on site. I guess they said because people are getting the Fauci Virus even after getting the 'shot' and the CDC says it spreads the same. They are trying to buy more tests because the site currently have under 500 left. The second part was not communicated in email just gossip I guess.

Minneapolis people where put on unpaid leave. I guess you have 30 days to comply. They're telling the people that they resigned their position if they don't comply after 30 days.

You cannot collect unemployment. Friday was their last day. Badges were deactivated. I guess it's a company policy. Which these people didn't want to comply to.

The last memo we had stated we must follow Biden executive order. Since court put an injunction on it. I thought they would be required to create a new memo. Stating it was going to be honeywell new policy.
I guess that wasn't the case.

Whoever is left. They will have to work more overtime. I wonder how many people to affected?

If you don’t get vaxxed you should pay a higher premium because you’ll more than likely be in the hospital if you catch it. Just like the premium for smoking or being fat.
Ditch the vax mandate.
Why is this so hard?

@3kjw+1eEgoGMi Regarding #4, why stop there? They should do that with fat people who have heart attacks too. The should know better. And people who get skin cancer because they didn't wear sun screen, they don't deserve treatment either. And forget about smokers. Let them die with their lung cancer. No treatment for anyone who's ever exercised bad judgement!

This is how they need to handle Covid. 1-Get vaccinated it’s free voluntary
2- don’t get vaccinated
3- Get rid of masks totally voluntary want to wear one fine not wear one fine.
4-get Covid -Vaccinated go to hospital if needed. Not vaccinated- Sorry your on your own Hospital can’t help you.

@2wzt+1eEgoGMi Sounds to me like you have no confidence in the vaccine! If you did you have no fear of the virus.

@2wzt+1eEgoGMi This is such a slippery slope, we are actively treating people who want to keep their medical history private or who may not want vax for whatever reason as second class citizens.

the facts, science and research studies show that " vaccinated people clear the virus faster, with lower levels of virus overall, and have less time with very high levels of virus present. Therefore, vaccinated people are, on average, likely to be less contagious"

Afterall, it is my preference, I do not want to be around unvaccinated people and it is my right to share that with upper management.

@2pii+1eEgoGMi So if you're not afraid that your vaccine won't protect you, how will unvaccinated co-workers infect your family? You know that even the vaxed can trasmit covid right? What's the difference?

my vaccine will protect me, but am afraid that if I get the virus, that my 3-years kid will get it too (not yet vaccinated). My wife got covid before she was vaccinated 8 months ago, and she was about to die in front of my eyes (8 days in the hospital). We got Covid again after we got the vaccine, but we barely had any serious symptoms.

To protect my kids, especially they very young ones, I don't want to work around any unvaccinated people. Today I convinced a group of 12 other co-workers to send the same message to upper management which they all did in a letter signed by all of us.

@2lzl+1eEgoGMi You must be in the virus target demographic then: old and/or obese.

Did your doctor inform you of the long term side effects? Oh wait, he can't because no one knows what they are yet!

Just remember, doctors prescribed all of those meds with the commercials on TV "Did you or someone you know take xyz? If so, you may be entitled to compensation..." Except there will be no compensation this time!

I shared with my management that myself and few other co-workers do not feel safe to come to work and be around unvaccinated people. I hope this will help to reach a fully vaccinated environment at Honeywell very soon.

I don’t “pick sides”. I do take my doctors advice.

He graduated from the UCLA medical school, is board certified, has been practicing medicine for over twenty years and has provided sound medical science based guidance for me for many years.

Not complicated!!

I am being placed on unpaid leave starting Monday Jan 10th for refusing to upload my vax status into an app that claims to share my medical history with any 3rd party Honeywell deems necessary. Wish you all the best, I'm out!

It's pretty clear that one side believes everything the TV says and the other side has done some research and basic critical thinking.
Fun stats:
Spanish flu (1918): World pop: 950M. 50M died (5.26%) (tragic event)
Seasonal flu (2018): World pop: 7.5B, .009% died (typical 1 year total)
Covid (2020-2021): World Pop: 7.7B, 5.5M dead, .07% dead so far (world coming to an end, people like the previous poster scared beyond reason)

Listening to the hearing and it’s clear that one side is trying to protect people and the other side simply wants to be able to choose not to.

You have to be pretty uneducated to say "The virus needs unvaccinated people in order to mutate". Please post a link to a reliable source of that information (not CNN, CDC, MSNBC, etc.). You likely still believe that herd immunity will also work, but most of us recognize that the virus is running rampant through the ranks of the vaccinated and unvaccinated at the present time.

I work in Phoenix, have not heard of anyone loosing a job for no vax. I only know 1 person that told me they would not get vaxed and were prepared to leave - still her today (so far). Personally I think every decision is #1 for $$, everything else is after that. I think Hon won't risk missing revenue for a vax mandate and will use it to purge folks where demand / revenue is not as critical right now. Of course none of us will ever be told this.

Back to the original question on the post, let us know if any actions happen today. This isn’t about vax vs anti-vax, it’s about people.

The issue is that you are actively adding risk. The virus needs unvaccinated people in order to mutate. I don’t want to force anyone, but I do feel that many of the people rejecting it are doing it based on political beliefs, not real health concerns. Trump took it and the booster.

Misery loves company. People who have subjected themselves to this experimental shot insist others do it to attempt to validate their own choice. If you really felt confident in own choice, you wouldn’t care what others are doing. I will never allow any company or government to dictate my medical choices. I am completely confident in that. Anyone else can feel free to praise big pharma and bend over to ridiculous mandates if you want while virtue signaling online. I’m confident I will be a happier person over the next few years than anyone who tows the line of media narrative.

@2usu+1eEgoGMi Wow, the MSM and government fear campaign has worked on you! You need some critical thinking and discernment.

  1. 5M world wide covid deaths (if that number is to be trusted - deaths FROM covid vs died WITH covid), 7.7B world wide population = .07% of all people have died from covid, of which 80-90% are old and/or obese. Your chance of dying if not old and obese? Less than .01%, if my math is right. And a small fraction of that for kids!

If you're not old and fat, why worry? You're more likely to be ki---d in a car crash. Please tell me why I should be scared something with those odds, or tell me how my math is wrong.
