Chuck wants to be like the other east coast banks. Selling Mortgage and officially moving headquarters out of SF to NYC will go hand in hand.

Laughable. Also, what East Coast Banks don’t have a mortgage division? WF is the largest mortgage company in the industry and services more mortgage customers than any other. As long as Chase keeps their mortgage division which will be forever, WF will also.
Everyone from WF Mortgage that leaves is now “remote” for Truist. Connect the Des Moines dots….
Yeah, rando Layoff warrior predicting that RTO would get delayed, after it's already been delayed a hundred times, is definitely equivalent of this "prediction" of a sub-$10B online mortgage company that just fired a ton of their staff buying a $300B+ mortgage business from one of the big banks.
The last time I saw a post get this much hate was that nut job who said the 1/10 RTO wasn't going to happen...oh, never mind.
What a stupid post.
If you are going to troll at least try to do it intelligently
...you mean other than 'its not happening'? No, no news.
Now this is news!
Tech is going to take a big hit for this..........
Charlie and his buddies have nothing but the most respect for Des Moines, IA. If they launched all the flyover people the DEI ratio improves by 3%.
Mortgage isn't tied to SF. Their HQ is in Des Moines IA. Whether or not they move from San Francisco is a completely separate issue.
@dpe+1eDMiIpE never say never. Everything has a price plus there goes 10k in headcount. The SF to NYC thing is going to happen sometime soon.
WTF? That is ridiculous. The day wells sells Mortgage is the day it shuts the doors.
Bullsh*
