I'm done accepting more work when I already have a full plate that takes more hours in a day than I have to finish. If they want to fire me for this, so be it. I think my health can only benefit from me leaving HON, even if I don't get a severance. I've had enough and I'm determined to stand my ground, whatever the consequences.

You're at Honeywell. Just don't work so hard. Worker harder than the person in last.
It's your sanity at stake.
It's always the underworked, overpaid people bragging about made up hours they've worked so many of.
@ukb,
Not the OP but sometimes you are given the work. I figure most of it out.
And you do not necessarily have a choice. Yes. I know you'll say that you always have a choice as you can leave.
Not everyone can leave at the drop of a hat. Maybe a new opportunity is too far, family issues etc.
We're not gonna take it
Oh no, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore ....................
Why did you ever start taking on more than you can physically achieve? It's your fault you're where you are.
I've reached the same point as you.
Year is early and I've already "socialized" that I will not pick up new projects until all the rest of the team gets one.
The rest of the team has picked, well, no projects, at all.
I think many folks are reaching the point of saying enough!
And emails stating "GO TEAM" actuall
I have been pushing back for over a year now. So far I get no comments back - silence. Actually it seems to work as some folks who have been dumping on me now don't. (Managers in other areas) I have said many times to talk to my boss, no one has. It appears to me these folks actually don't want to be involved, they are dodging bullets too. I actually think most supervisors and managers know people are overworked and just shoot out emails and make comment that it has to get done and really just hope someone will do it. They don't care what you have on your plate. If you say yes you will get more.

And emails stating "GO TEAM" actually does nothing to motivate me.
