White collar employees need to unionize. Even if you don't technically need a union, (and let's be honest, most of us do), we need to show solidarity with all workers.

conversely, It's even more amazing how unions have convinced non union workplaces to join a union only to find out that the workers pay up the wazoo for basically tne same or worse benefits and the talented workers get stuck at an idle pay rate, and more Chicago - Jersey - Orleans corruption than they can handle. Oh, and the "don't work too hard or you're not one of us" (ie lazy) crowd appears within the first few months.

This was attempted approx. 20 years ago and failed after WF brought people in to scare employees into not doing it.
Instantly get a target on your back from all levels of management? No thanks. Unions are not for your best interests, Unions are for unions management best interests. The biggest winners in a union is not you, it's those claiming to help you.
The only good thing about unions is that they are a great way to identify unskilled, lazy workers who have been mediocre all their lives but feel entitled to great rewards

I dunno, maybe Wells Fargo deserved a consent order? If you were one of the customers that experienced fraud, you might have a different perspective. Also, Warren didn't force Wells Fargo to hire anyone.

A union is another way to control workers. Instead of fearing the company, we can walk out without pay at the bequest of the union boss. No thanks.
Big companies know collective bargaining is the second-best way to cap salaries, especially when it gives them a reason to go overseas.
Unions also drive up prices for consumers while harming innovation. A union becomes a monopoly on workers, making it more expensive to get work done.
Labors need to negotiate their own way, to have the freedom to leave a bad situation rather than hold out for better terms or work under union rules.
