Salesforce - making retail worse one lead at a time

This leads tool is a pile of cr-p. I don't know who thought this was a good idea but that person should be sent packing. Its a pain to use and just a complete chore all around. And now mycsp was moved into Salesforce!!! What in the world? who even asked for that! The main page you see when you open the stupid app which takes forever to load on my store's dial up modem is so stupidly cramped you almost wonder if they found the worlds biggest mo--n to design this. Not that hard to find at AT&T I guess. You have stupid leads on one side and some mini myCSP stuff on the other side and the whole thing is just a mashup of bad ideas. Everything upper management does makes the hellhole we call retail that much more worse. I hear Verizon is hiring. They cant be this d-mb right?

Salesforce isn't just screwing up you retail people. That program is behind the dispatch system we are subjected to in the field as route-able Techs. It crashes weekly so no jobs can be sent out for hours at a time.

When is is operational, we still routinely wait for up to 20 minutes between jobs for it to realize we are idle and are in need of another assigned job, and then it sends us to a city 90 minutes away when three other guys are already in that area - also waiting for another job.

We show up late to appointments, we miss appointments, we don't even know there was an appointment. Customers be loving us Bro - not!

Dispatch is peeved. Techs are beyond peeved. Supervisors are drinking heavily.

Meanwhile, Salesforce laughs off their rear-ends every day as they cash our checks.

When we had desktop computers in our stores - everything ran fast and no inventory issues......Then some brain surgeon at the death star got the bright idea to have us all walk around like cool aid drinking apple employees carrying tablets in place of a desktop computer. Bright idea huh. Ever seen our systems crash on a desktop ? How often to they crash on an ipad ? Yaaaaaaaaaa, real smart huh

Hellooooo, there is no longer an AT&T Technology group per se as most development has been outsourced to IBM India, Amdocs, Tech M, Ericsson...take your pick..Very minimal in-house development these days. Therefore, not a lot of older employees as one was trying to suggest, what an id--t. Hence, the issue and why outsourcing does not work.

When I go into a company retail store, the sales rep apologizes for how slow the transaction systems are, happens every time.

When I go into another retailer, I pick the phone, pay for it and leave. No sales rep apology or life story.

All the geniuses at T just can't get their sh-t straight, period.

Gotta admit, we are consistent though. Our software and tools are getting consistently worse over time. Archaic at best. Maybe they will replace our tablets with a commodore 64.

Complete was of time and energy! Cant find anything anymore without CSP! Must of been the same dummies that started the "mids" on sales! Another waste of time! Customers askn why u have to repeat everything! People come and first thing they say , I only need a phone! Dont ask me about tv or internet! Embarassing..

Opus is bad. Quantum is bad. Salesforce is bad. Is there a team that is behind these tools? I'd love to see them deal with their disasters. Especially the Opus id--ts. I've worked for T-Mo and Sprint and what they have is light years better. AT&T's technology group or whatever they're called is probably filled with over-the-hill id--ts that couldn't program a graphic calculator, let alone make competent decisions for a large company.

This is same story repeated thousands times, some executive elite brings in industry leading software while paying out millions for the opportunity to solve major business problems. Everything is done with great PR and fanfare, except solving the actual problems. Ding, ding, ding, new software actually makes things worst, and none of the working teams are surprised.

Yeah, leads is bad and CCKM is just sort of okay. It's not an upgrade or anything so why did they do it? They get a mail-in rebate from Salesforce or something to help pay down the Time Warner debt? There must have been a financial aspect.

Truth. Managers are so desperate for us to use this thing. You know they just shut downCSP all suddenly and it became a direct order YO YOU NEED TO USE THIS TOOL THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK. JUST LOAD IT UP AND DON'T ASK QUESTIONS, like they need to boost the numbers or sumthin sumthin.

We need the Cr---y Tools Olympics in Retail. Whose going to take first? Opus,, Salesforce or the scanners? I will always bet on Opus.
