On page 9 of the Q3 earnings presentation, Honeywell shows the "% of Ethnically / Racially Diverse in US Workforce" went from 29.4% in 2019 to 33.4% in 2020. So they are openly admitting they targeted non-minority US employees for the layoffs in 2020.
They also "Established 2021 goals for each direct CEO staff office that include an annual objective of driving diversity". So expect the targeting of non-minorities to continue in future rounds of layoffs.
