@Fearless, I think someone on death row would argue this point with you. The slight difference between this situation and death row is that you can pack up and walk away. The guy on death row doesn't have that option.

So far, the vast majority of people who "said" they would quit their job if vaccines were mandated.... didn't quit.

Many other companies have the Dec 8th date. You know why, right?

Just get the vaccine and move on with your life. You probably already have had lots of other mandatory vaccines and this one won't be any different. Just grow up.

This will be attitudes of 99 percent who comply. You all should be looking for new jobs now. Instead of waiting to be fired, you know it going to happen. Plan for it.

Instead you all will be looking for job at the same time. Less competition equal greater chance of being hired.

So don't all wait until December 9, unless you really don't believe Honeywell will get rid of you.

I guarantee they will.

  • Yes, but that safety is not only an illusion, it completely ignores completely valid alternatives (i.e. natural immunity).

While HON has a choice, it doesn't really. Either bow down to the government or fight the government. Each decision has pros and cons.

No one can honestly say the people who have taken the jab will still be alive 20 years from now.
Anyone who is actually sitting on death row probably deserves to be there, my tax dollars shouldn't be used to keep them alive!!!

There's a monumental difference between sitting in a cell on death row waiting 20+ years for the ultimate life ending jab than having to get a vaccine to continue working at Honeywell.

You can leave your job at any time and continue with your life. People leave Honeywell through normal attrition to other companies or retirement at a 10%-15% rate every year. Then there are RIF's at various sites that has become an ongoing process. People leave and move on with their lives. It's been going on for 20+ years and is nothing new.

Yes, the drama queen comment from @prb is appropriate.
