Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Digital Life partnership with Brinks

Since ATT will sunset 3G in early 2022, DL will likely become inactive shortly after that, though it may function for a bit on wifi for monthly monitoring. Rather than transferring to Brinks, will there be a way to keep DL "active" locally without monitoring? It would be worth a small monthly fee to keep the internal alarms, door lock, camera recording, etc. active. Or continue with wifi monitoring at a reduced cost? Or re-use z-wave sensors somehow with other alarm equipment?

Not sure if current DL force (however small) will "move over" to Brinks or be laid off?

Can’t imagine how much pressure all of retail was under to sell this trash.

Countless people fired
Millions of conference calls getting beaten down

Just for a sad ending like this

Does anyone have an approximate number of the DL customer base even if it is an older estimate? It really is a product not mentioned very often.

The OP is someone on the DL team desperately seeking to save their own skin.

Hard truth: the product is a total loser, and you will be liquidated.

DL is on life support. It's costing way too much to keep it active. Pay Brinks cash to take it and be done with it.
