Are there any managers “in the know” on this board that have heard anything concerning what At&t ‘s stance may be concerning the Texas ban ? Inquiring minds would like to know .

Came on the news. If and when OSHA issues the mandate for employers with over 100 employees, Federal law trumps state law. If that holds up in the courts, only small business will be protected by state law.
Just because the stupid governor placed a ban, that does not stop any business from firing anyone not vaccinated. It's an employment at will state thanks to republicans.
What is likely to happen is there will be a hold put on the enforcement of the policy. The policy will still be in place. There will likely be more federal and state actions, and ultimately escalated in the courts. Then depending on what happens in the courts, it will be decided in homes and streets across the country.
It likely buys time for people. The real fight is still ahead.

I believe they noted that his executive order is to be expired once the legislature in TX creates a law for it , which they are hoping they do during the special session they have going on .
Montana has a ban passed by the legislature, and I'm not hearing of any mandate by any company in that state.
Texas - the Supreme Leader has issued an executive edict, and not running it by the legislature - depending on how the laws work in that state, there could be a court challenge. It all depends on how decree-enabled that governor is.
I don't like this decree business. I like Montana's approach.
