HON is not even trying to hide its disdain for its employees. They consider us to be their biggest expense and liability and they keep treating us like we're the enemy. If they could, they'd run this place with no employees but since they can't, they're making sure to let us know just what a burden we are to them. They conveniently ignore the fact that we are the ones who do the work that creates profit. They're not interested in that, only the cost.

When random employees could get Hon to pay for their MBA and then be promoted into management instead of folks with talent, that’s when we saw the mediocre take advantage of the situation & rise up through the ranks. Talent scares them because on an even playing field, the mediocre wouldn’t gain power. The next step was all too obvious…
Don’t get me started on Blackbelts or CMMI!
Like every other multinational corp, they started the war on high cost country FTEs back in the 1990s. It isn't coming back, ever.
It must have a been a big paradigm shift once you finally realized that.
and then we get the BS Code of Conduct to do in the Learning Hub. What a crock!
HON would prefer to outsource all manufacturing, design, marketing and aftermarket service to contract labor sources.
Only thing left would be to manage the business. This would be done by contractors not FTE.
They would bill HON for their services at the end of the day and if needed would be called back the next day. Terms would be net 120 of course and subject to rebates and reduced fees based upon HON’s discretion based upon margin and stock price.
Feels like this has ramped up starting Monday. Gotta find creative ways to hit Q4!
HW has been hatin on FTE's since almost forever. This aint new.
And you just now figured this out?
