Claw back raises by shifting benefit cost to workers and furloughs.

I was doing a lot of work with china. Language was a problem but pay was good.
Stupid politics and changes in china really put a ceiling on what was a great gig.
Fortunately my side hustle is picking up. Probably make art a full time thing now.
China is not a good look right now.

Majority of adults are all about Let's Go Brandon (per every poll in the US)- so apparently out esteemed colleague 1qcm thinks most people are low IQ. Typical out of touch liberal snobbery.

I'd say real raise of -5% when factoring lack of benefits, inflation and "extra effort required"

I would PIP an id--t who goes around chanting let’s go Brandon too. Right on point for the low IQ crowd.

Been with the company for 30 years and in the 9 block. That’s about right for the low IQ crowd.

Well here I'll probably see 0% as I'm in the older crowd been here over 30+ years and was one of the lucky ones to be put on PIP few months ago off it now but still trending the 9 block. I know I bust my ar-e off for this company which honeyhell bought us in 07 and wrecking it but guess that what corporations do just like who's all in office now. Let's go Brandon

Darius is very proud of his “power of 1%” policy. It means the businesses need to reduce fixed costs by 1% every year. In theory if it were spread evenly with a static set of employees then every employee would see their paycheck go down 1% a year. Since Hon has RIFs and can outsource to “right cost” regions this 1% decrease is not apparent to the pay increases those riding the high in the 4 block (1-2-4-5). What is apparent is the decline in R&D, customer support, and employee benefits. I predict pay raises will be eliminated for people in the 5 block and elbow employees will get paycuts.

Look at the raises over the last several years and you'll get a good idea of what the raise will be for 2022. On top of that the U.S. inflation rate as of October 2021 was 6.2% compared to a year earlier. That means consumer prices increased by 6.2% over a year.

Not too shabby, I hope. With so many people leaving, there aren't many left to actually take on more and if the raise isn't significant, you might see some of these ALT having to pick up a ratchet.
By the way, all vacation days have been cancelled except for Christmas day. What a way to end the year.
