As someone who was left standing in last year’s HR Transformation, I am surprised to see so many HR jobs posted externally. What the heck?

What is Boston Consulting Group? I overheard they are replacing HR as per the run down curve in 2022. Sorry not sure what this means I'm a new admin close to source.
@1xlc - you’re absolutely correct. It’s not just HR, it’s happening across all functions. Wells PSG 23 here, and 100 % confident this is the top in CVX for my career. No friends and family and the Transformation set the management team for at least the next 10 years. With Wirth actively laying off like a sadist and the downsizing of BU’s it doesn’t look good. I’m doing the job of 2-3 FTE’s. Actively looking and expect to pull the plug within 4-6 weeks. Take a look at the Permian and what point you are in your career. If you are mid-career or earlier you better switch industries tout suite
If HR was fully outsourced would this be an issue? I understand it will upset those in corporate HR. Can't say I have felt satisfied with any HR reps I have been assigned when filling roles. Particularly Technical roles. On the Grammar reply. Did you consider English is not their first language? Interesting implying higher intelligence based on English Grammar. I will put my money on Harvard Math 55 graduate's from Asia.
Actually I disagree. This is typical HR distraction. Blame the employee for poor performance before admitting any responsibility.
You showed him. Typical HR worried about grammar before tangible results.
Which rolls were posted? I only see a couple in San Ramone.
I think you should address your exemplary grammar first before someone outsources you…..

Am I missing something here. If HR did their job correctly this site wouldn't be here? Appears strange the biggest complainers on here are HR yet you believe you can manage human resources?
The HR people who were laid off and didn’t actually want to be left standing will also be surprised to know that HR promoted a bunch of people in the last PDC.
The next reorg they have where they talk about cost cutting and efficiency tell em they are full of it.
Virtual AI bots can do the job.
Outsource HR to the Philippines or Argentina at PSG 16. They'll give you about as much help as the US-based gang of know-nothings do, and save the company some money (which can then go to the dividend).
More jobs will get posted soon. HR is burning their people out and dealing with traffic in January will just make the situation worse.
I think the roles they are posting are due to unexpected attrition of 21-23s.
The job I saw posted was 22-23 but they will not hire a PSG 22. They want 24-25 caliber person and someone to tolerate not being promoted as a 23. Apparently, their normal "development role" tricks are not working on our 23s and they are leaving the company.
Lets be honest no one cares about HR except those in HR. Should of outsourced all of them.
Not too many also. In the last few days.. I only see 1-2 HR job postings.
Not too many. Less than 10? But tell that to 10 people who got laid off.
