Mine went from $616,000 to $590. 000. Union Legacy T how could a $900,00 lump only decrease 30-K and another 600k poster only 17K ? Just curious
It was 17500 on my 600k lump.
Ran the estimate, using the October IRS Seg Rates. It is 30k less, on a 940k lump sum payout.
For most taking a lump those new figures represent a loss of 17 - 21k next year if you retired as opposed to this year also the loss of the medical for all management who choose not to retire. The actual figures used will be Novembers which come out about mid-december
Segment rates are VERY meaningless unless you are S T U P I D enough to opt for the annuity because you trust the STINK to not totally F U C K you over. Trusting the Stink will be F A T A L to you when combined with the Bidumb buck inflation.

I guess another self proclaimed wealth advisor is trying scare people. Yes rates went up little bit, but not enough to panic.
What is the increase? And how much my pension will decline.
If those numbers don't drop.......Lump sum pensions will. Big time.
