The Sun King (S.K.) ran off all the best lords & barons in the first year of his reign of te---r. Of late, he has sequestered himself to his throne room to plot & scheme the downfall of the Cedar Creek fiefdom. Once Cedar Creek is overrun by hordes of outsourcers, word is that he will be granted a kingdom near to Emperor MadMax (MM) in the realm of Phoenix.
SK's queen was here a fortnight ago to inspect the serfs grubbing away at their workbenches and slogging in the cubicle farms. From the chateau's upper balcony (mezzanine) and I heard her proclaim to SK, "Let them eat cake", to which he replied, "No, let them eat grass!"
Probably needless to say, but life for us serfs has been nigh-on 2 years of hellish inquisitions, verbal whippings, and mandatory servitude. Just last week, we were savagely threatened that anyone caught on what SK called a "mobile device" would be given 30 lashes!! We now await word from William Wallace in the hope that he can free us from our wretched servitude...
