Many unvaccinated have natural immunity from recovery from natural Covid infection. The science recognizes this as natural immunity and large scale studies from Israel and Cleveland Clinic covey this immunity is better than vaccine. Look it up and research it. However, current politics and media refuse to transparently discuss it for political reasons.

There are a lot of false statements here stated as fact. Sure the vaccinated can get and spread COVID, but not “just as easily”. If in one group the spread is 1 in 100 and another it’s 1 in 10000 there is a clear difference. In my opinion the vaccine avoiders should just be let go because it is a clear indication of an inability to think logically and act safely. No different than failing a dr-g test.

If you don't want to follow the requirements Chevron is putting in place you are free to seek employment elsewhere.

All these stories, fact or fiction, are all fine and dandy, yet no one to this point has put forth any valid reasoning for mandating a vaccine that does not prevent the spread of a virus from both the vaccinated and non-vaccinated to both the vaccinated and non vaccinated. It seems that whether or not you protect yourself, and only yourself from the most extreme effects of the virus should be up to the individual. The mandate is not alleviating any particular individual, vaccinated or not, from catching or spreading the virus. It literally has no basis in common sense or rational thought. It's like mandating vitamin C during flu season. So your flu will not be as bad, but you can still pass it on to others, and likely more because you will resist the symptoms more and remain contagious at work longer. This is not a political discussion. I am an independent. Please refrain from the foolishness. The minute you bring politics into the discussion, the equivalent of Godwin's rule applies and you forfeit.

People can believe whatever they want to believe but I can back up the poster’s story re the ER doc. No, my son is not an ER doc but I can vouch that I’ve heard the same words from the unvaccinated who got real sick and asked while in the hospital if they could get the vaccine. Same response from the dr: no you can’t get the vax while you’re sick with COVID , you have to wait for full recovery, which can take months. I know 3 unvaccinated, who initially refused to get vaccinated, who had this experience.

Despite what some of you would like to believe, my son is an ER doc and he tells me it's almost all unvaxxed that are getting hospitalized and dying. Several of them have asked to be vaccinated in the hospital and he's had to tell them that it's too late. So sad.

None of the vaccinated I know have been hospitalized or have died. I know a couple elderly/ previous condition battling cancer who have been hospitalized … and they were vaccinated. Only people I’m aware of that didn’t make it were not vaccinated. And this is not info from tv. This is my personal knowledge/experience

Depends on what you believe. It’s rare that the vaccinated are dying. My personal experience is that the unvaccinated are the ones who died. I know of a handful of vaccinated that got COVID, some twice. But not hospitalized and not dead.

Vaccinated people are being hospitalized and dying as well. We need to stop this division of vaxxed vs unvaxxed, and vaxxed people have a more dangerous version of covid, nonsense. The narratives that are being pumped across the news outlets are proving to be false daily. We need to unite as a company, nation, before it's too late.

Yes the vaccinated can and do spread COVID….. but the reality is they’ll spread it to other vaccinated people that either won’t get it or will get it mildly. Mild COVID is not the worldwide public health problem that severe COVID is.
The people who are unvaccinated are accepting more rules and more risk.

Since the vaccinated can spread the virus just as easily as unvaccinated people, shouldn't they be testing both vaccinated and unvaccinated?
