You will still get your point on keys days. Doesn't matter if you use 8 or 16 hour.

The reason why it is called protected PTO is because associates are PROTECTED from any points when using it. It doesn't matter if you use it on an event date...you are PROTECTED.

You only use 8 hours ppto. NOT 16. 16 won't matter. Ppto will only cover the absence, not the event point. It is the same as if you no call no show. If you put in ppto later, it covers the absence, not the fact that you didn't call out. So that point still stands. If you show up to work and leave early however, there are no double points. It is just the single or half depending on how long you stay. Anyone saying otherwise is incorrect. Member of mgmt.

If you use PPTO you will get 0 points. That’s why it’s called protected time off. Don’t listen to the rest of these clowns

Key event call offs are double points, so if you call off you have to use 16 hours of ppto if you are scheduled 8 hours per day. Just go to work.

You still get 0 points with PPTO. At least that’s how our club has done it since day 1.
