You can make more in connection awards than you can in annual bonus. Those that are not understanding must be on the wireline side. I have awarded nearly $40K in connection awards this year. Great program, since I am able to award 40% of team instead of 20% using the old IPI program.

Apples and oranges. Shocking how many people don’t understand the new management awards. Connection awards replaced IPI (individual) awards, which were typically given to the top rated people. The company bonus didn’t change and you can look online each quarter to see if it is on track or below.

“ if any, bonus payments for 2021, just not gonna happen. Why would Stankey want to reward all those employees that are retiring by the end of the year. He wants them gone.”

How can you make a statement like this? Following each quarter you receive an email with a link to a page in Amplify where you can view how the bonus targets are tracking. Just as you have for any year in recent memory there will be a bonus.

OP - Unless you have been working here for just a couple of months or so, I am struggling to understand how an employee is not familiar with the difference between a connection award and the annual bonus program.

Huh? Where are you getting that from (re: the annual bonus)? I guess I should have clarified… mobility is on track for the largest payout based on quarterly updates. If I had to guess, mobility will land around 118%-120%.

Stankey will get his huge payout! Probably will put in $23 million in the bank this year. The BOD will reward him handsomely for reversing the bad decisions that piled up a $180 billion of debt!

Nothing has changed from last year. If anything things have gotten worse financially for T. Stankey still has $3B to cut by year end. Don't expect much, if any, bonus payments for 2021, just not gonna happen. Why would Stankey want to reward all those employees that are retiring by the end of the year. He wants them gone.

Stankey has requested that spot bonus awards be distributed throughout the diverse workforce at T. Don't plan to receive much, if any, individual bonus amounts over 2% for 2021. Still way too many mouths to feed, and remember, no one is safe!
