At first I was worried. It seemed like the community really was filled with mo--ns. But I kept at it, triggering quacks using facts, to test my theory.

It looks like my suspicions are correct. Most folks here aren’t brain dead. There’s just a few extremely vocal ones that make it seem like they represent the norm. But there’s no where near enough posts with a variety of style to claim there’s lots of whackos here. It’s just three or four tops. And for all the noise, they aren’t really here trying to help anyone - it’s name calling and games.

@7web: Yes saw that on CNN this morning. All the major US Airlines have added the same mandate for their employees except Delta. Delta took a different approach with a $200/month health insurance surcharge to help get vaccination compliance.

Many airlines are also government contractors that must meet a December 8 deadline set by Biden to enforce vaccination requirements, without the testing option.

We'll see how it goes.

NEW: United Airlines now says even fewer workers are resisting its vaccine mandate— terminating only 232 of 67,000 workers. 300+ either uploaded records late or changed their minds and got vaccinated (!) when faced with the start of the firing process.

UAL ranks 28th in worldwide on time performance, reported 2nd quarter capacity down 46% compared to 2019, continues to charge high prices compared to its peers, has many customer service complaints on numerous websites, and continues to infuriate customers with schedule changes and poor service. But they're most worried about unvaccinated employees. Hint to UAL: fix your customer sat issues and people might begin flying your airlines again. I'm not sure why so many airlines (and businesses in general) think it's all about COVID. If your service sucked before and during COVID, it probably still sucks.

I am protected by my immune system and how well I care for it. No one will force medication on me. If you are protected by your vaccine, you shouldn’t care.

You don’t have to take vaccines - no one is going to strap you down and stick you like in a Na-i concentration camp (except in your mind).

You can mask or self quarantine if you’re concerned about long term affects. The choice that should be eliminated, that is justified by long standing American legal precedent, is ignoring C19 and persisting to put the public at risk by romping around unprotected in public.

Is it? For how long? How do you know when it’s waned? Is it effective against all variants? What happens when you get a cold or flu and you’re immunity is compromised? If you still catch it, will your immunity scale against a full infection? Can you do things to compromise that immunity? Do environmental conditions affect your superior immunity?

Are you immune from spreading it too? Is the person in the next cube at risk of you spreading it still? What about under all those conditions above? How long are you a carrier? Are you a latent carrier silently brewing a new variant?

Sorry, to be fair, I think you interpret my comment backwards. I’m not at all suggesting that we follow a racist agenda. My point was that getting minorities vaccinated if they choose shouldn’t fail due to logistical/administrative issues. Those issues should be resolved with priority, regardless of who’s arm the shot goes into. That lands on governors and local officials to dispense what the federal program granted from national dollars.

I think it’s that last sentence that touches on where the real problem lies…

Meanwhile my titer is in the thousands.. basically off the chart. No vaccine. No symptoms.. who knows? Doc says I probably had covid and never knew it.
