Merch has done our freezer for at least 3 years, and thrown in cooler if no one is scheduled, which happens alot. I'm part time morning merch and am the lone freezer person, night merch zones it.

FREEZER/COOLER should belong to fresh......Merchandisers do not have enough time to stock these areas. Our 5 morning crew including softlines is not enough to stock entire club and also help receiving run out freight. Bottom line is we just don't have enough hands to fully stock entire club.

My club picks up freezer cooler but it belongs to fresh and we are about to hand it back over

It SHOULD be fresh. It comes on "fresh trucks" and takes priority over every other truck regardless of the schedule. So the fresh team should handle it.

We help out in freezers 2 hours a day. Not cooler. But morning merchandiser gets thrown any ND everywhere needed in our store

Merchandisers are supposed to stock cooler and freezers for 2 hours in the morning and then go to the floor for the rest of the day

We have like 3 people coded for F/C. At least 10 people are scheduled to work it. They just hide them under merchandising. By comparison, I have 9 total people actually working in Merchandising in the evenings.

Freezer cooler falls under the responsibility of the Produce Lead. That’s one of the reasons that lead makes $21+ an hour compared to Merch leads $19+

Well I am I'm fullfillment and I always try to go inside freezer cooler to get my items if it's a large amount. I try to never ever take from. Front of the freezer unless I have to.

In my store the fulfillment associates outnumber the floor merchandisers sometimes 3:1
they empty the run sometimes faster then we can replenish. Constant fulfillment drops throughout the busy day. Sometimes The same Drop twice!(yes when we drop we also replenish the run). When we do actually have enough floor merchandisers to make a difference, they get drafted to fulfillment.

Well in my store it’s us fulfillment that gets thrown everywhere. We open with 5 people and a hour in one is now doing price changes the next one is in freezers and once the store opens one is on registers. So it’s not only the merchandisers doing everything oh and let’s not forget we are doing all carry outs as well!!

Its Bs. Freezer/cooler got seperated under a different department a while ago. Produce i think.
Probably not enough coverage to make the freezers stocked and looking good. So as managers and TL's do... when all else fails, throw floor merchandisers at it until it gets right.

Cart guys call out? no prob. Throw merchandisers out there until there's carts for days!.
Universal disposable cogs in a money making machine. We are the sc-m of the club.
