Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Will there be any consequences?

The majority of companies that have seen their stock drop sharply when the pandemic started have recovered by now and plenty are even up compared to March 2020. Then there's T. Not only did we not recover, today we are even slightly below compared to where we were then. So how come Stankey still has his job?

Creative accounting will help out. Enron, Tyco, Worldcom, Lehman, AIG, Freddie Mac executives should be consulted.
If only Charles Ponzi or Madoff were still alive. We could contract them along with Handy Randy and pay them a $1M retainer for consulting services.

T is way too heavy in debt, clean it up and share price will rise. This will take years to recover from all the foolish acquisitions.
