Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

delta is doing it so will at&t

delta is making you pay extra sur charge for non vax at $200 per month
comming to T along with the additional steps below, google delta and you will see how they are leading

COB violation step one, not disclosed yet but will be on your record, you will be evaluated to see if you can still complete your job, if not let go.
If you can do your job when you fill out for insurance you will have a non vaccination penalty like tobacco users do, I think this is going to be $200.
If you can do your job and are available to get a bonnous, you will not reveive one because of the cob violation.
Also in the next year you will receive a second Cob violation and with this being close to end of 2021 this will put the second within 3 or 4 months. At this point you should have already found a new job because this will be the end.

if they do add a no-vaccine surcharge, most employees will just recoup the added out of pocket by taking unofficial personal time that the company will never be able to track-down. If the surcharge is say $300/mo, all most mgmt folks need to do is grab 4-6 hours per month to cover that.

It's the action-reaction thing. ATT isn't very bright about most of their decisions. Remember "project collaborate"? LOL

You said, “… they take a bed and lifesaving resources away from someone who took this virus seriously!”

Did you think that through? If by saying they “took (the) virus seriously,” you mean they received the “vaccine” and are adhering to all the CDC guidelines for protecting themselves, why would they be in the hospital??

You make the argument for NOT a getting the jab, my friend.

Be sure to add the surcharge for all the employees who have children under 12, and be sure all their family members upload vaccine cards or more surcharges for you.

Don't worry about the surcharge. It's a small price to pay.

I’ll pay the 200 dollars instead of getting the experimental vaccine for a virus that has a 99.97 recovery rate. Got the covid last March and recovered so why would I put poison in my body? I’ll just sit in my van for an hour every week to make up the 200.

You could make the same inane claim about 100’s of things people do in their lives and make personal decisions on.

What about the weed-heads or people living “alternate lifestyles”? They cost all of us and the company more in insurance payouts.

Unfortunately the courts are completely politicized, so the company will be allowed to pick and chose, no matter the hypocrisy.

If you get the vaccination, AT&T will take care of you. They will give you all the time you need to get back to good health. For sure.

I agree! My cousin lost two good friends in the past 2 weeks to what they are attributing to COVID. However, both were morbidly obese. Their lungs are already under all of that pressure, it couldn't take less airways from the virus (that's what current articles say happen to obese people with COVID ANYWAY)

So if I get the jab and end up with a severe life altering condition (as my SISTER has!)..... it will be a full pay workmans comp claim, correct?

All corporation that provide heatlhcare to employee's, are usually self insured, and insuracce company only provides admin services and negotiates prices. These companies always review the overall cost, and will adjust employee cost, based on losses and risk. Like discounts offered for non-smoking, I'm sure some will provide discounts for covid vaccine, or if many continue to suck money for illness that is preventable, they will increase employee contribution.

"heard from my lawyer that if you don't want to get vaccinated make your company fire you. do not quit! they cite legal reasons and lawsuit reasons."

Hopefully your attorney also advised you to go ahead with the exemption process first. If they deny that, it gives you better legal odds if they fire you. But yes, do not quit. Attorneys are waiting for people to be fired before they file lawsuits.

Employers are not supposed to question your beliefs you state in the exemption and those beliefs are not conditional on how long you have held them. Most of the time they deny the exemption if a reasonable accommodation is not workable in their opinion. However in most cases simply working from home and agreeing to be tested prior to coming to an office and wearing a mask in the office is a reasonable accommodation. It certainly helps if you have been working from home for a while or are designated as such. Also do not give the company information ahead of time. The time to let them know is when you fill out the form or write the narrative and submit it.

@1xma+1cvVR8yy has posted fake news on multiple threads of this page.

WHO is the only group you listed that isn’t requiring vaccines. You continue to post nonsense from whatever your preferred conspiracy site is peddling.

"Treat it just like the smoking surcharge. Just as they didn't make you stop smoking, they make you decide how much you really care about your health to keep doing it and passing along the consequences."

Uh smoking is a little different they are helping people trying to keep something OUT of your body.
I would say that is totally different. the level of ignorance on this board is amazing and makes you see why att is in the shape they are in.

There should be a $300/month surcharge against any employee who is eligible for Medicare. These decisions are hard, but the company simply cannot afford what it used to.

We are not going to survive as a wireless and internet company. People don't pay as much for that as they used to.

It is a health plan. Why not pay $200 a month to keep your health? It's all coming out of AT&T's pocket at the end of the day. We just live here.

$200 that's all? It should be much more! I'm so sorry but there are consequences for every decision. I'm sick and tired of hearing people whining and complaining about their rights not to get a vaccination or wear a mask and my personal favorite "if it's my time to go then so be it"! But as soon as they get COVID that sense of personal responsibility and the willingness to die, suddenly flies right out the damn window on their way to the hospital where they take a bed and lifesaving resources away from someone who took this virus seriously!

If you don't want to get the vaccine that's your choice - quit already or wait to get terminated! Some of us are plain tired of the whining!

  1. The White House

  6. Pfizer

Are you awake yet?

Follow the Commissioners...

Scott Gottlieb - Former Commissioner of the FDA resigns and then goes to Pfizer to be on the board of directors.

Stephen Hahn - Replaces Gottlieb as FDA Commissioner and eventually resigns. He is now the Chief Medical Officer for Moderna.

Janet Woodcock - Wrongly advises Rick Bright (a fully-controlled individual) that HCQ is a dangerous dr-g requiring EUA that should be ONLY limited to hospitalized patients. Remember, all of the relevant clinical data at the time showed HCQ to be extremely effective in early treatment and NOT in hospitalized patients. Several months later Janet Woodcock replaces Stephen Hahn as the Commissioner of the FDA.

Is this all making sense yet?
