There is a load of misery on this board about Wells Fargo. I see the points and for those that are truthful I can agree and empathize with many of them. Some point out lousy bosses. But I am very fortunate in that I report to a wonderful boss. The one above my boss has been very supportive as well. Can that change over night, sure. I pray that it does not. So Godspeed to those who are in my situation and let's hope it continues. To those who are in worse shoes, let's hope it improves.

I too have an awesome boss and their boss is also very supportive. Despite that, I’m still planning to leave Wells Fargo. There is so much secret planning by sr leadership that even a good boss can’t prevent what’s coming.

This board has just become a joke and people come here for entertainment value or to whine. We had layoffs last week and because people didn't want to volunteer the specifics of what they knew others just called them liars. That sums up what this has devoleding into - facebook basically.
@1wxp+1cucsJgm if you aren't concerned about layoffs, then why are you here other than to be a company mouth piece? Why do you care that people are concerned about being laid off or their job being off-shored if life is perfect at WF? If everything were as bright and rosy as you and OP paint it, there should be no one on the Layoff.com board for WF. If your life was as rosy as you depict it, why would the layoff board even be in your thoughts?
My boss and his two immediate bosses are great. I think they may micromanage my boss at times but we are working on a highly visible project and they are good people.
Above them, I have hesitancy about their agenda. Lots of buzzwords and pretty talk but little action or concern about employees that I can see.

Awesome employees come with awesome leadership and awesome companies to work for. Please don’t put the onus on your employees. Put the onus on your leaders who have created such a toxic work environment under which even the best employees are straining to keep their attitudes up.

I know you despise us, but we are still here and we are not going away. Does anyone think it odd that someone that is grateful for their situation would come to a layoff board to discuss how great everything is? This smells like a mis-information campaign.
You say you have a wonderful boss, and I bet your correct. But let me say something to you as well: I bet you’re an awesome employee to have reporting to them. Love the attitude of gratitude and keep it up! Need more of you in the company.
