Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Don’t take Honeywell with you when you leave

According to Glassdoor, just 15% of Blue Origin employees approve of CEO B— S—— ,— versus 91% for Elon Musk at SpaceX or 77% for Tory Bruno at United Launch Alliance.

Those who announced they were leaving Blue Origin did not specify why, but frustration with executive management and a slow, bureaucratic structure is often cited in employee reviews on job site Glassdoor.

Sound familiar? I really liked Bob.
He made a classic mistake.

Same mistake leaders inside Honeywell make every day when they try to take successes from one program and stamp it out across all their other programs. Never works. People matter and teams are unique. Ask any basketball coach.

Bob… tell me you didn’t try to turn Blue Origin into Honeywell?….

I don’t know many 3’ployees who’ve been there over 6 months that are happy with the job or approve of management…except the middle management trying to kiss bootie.

There is your warning Honeywell leaders. As you work so hard to eject the old Honeywell and hire the new… pay heed. If you bring those old management tools and attitudes you will be rejected by this new generation and fail.

Pitting employees against each other and using fear to motivate has been standard practice. It will be hard to change. Young people smell hypocrites far quicker than they did ten years ago. They will walk.

Of course this won’t go unnoticed. You can tell that important demographics are quitting when HR starts up the spin machine. Employee happiness seminars and training for all the managers on helping employees find balance. Meanwhile you will hear rumors of resignation and su----e never mentioned by leaders. More seminars. Programs frantically searching for new bodies to fill revcog projects. Hiring anyone to replace experienced engineers. Ask your managers … they will be at door handing out candy with a big smile. Spin spin spin.

Good luck.

The race to space turning into bring up the rear
But you know, cant teach an old dog new trick
Sad to turn a young company into a dinosaur so quickly. When are they going to have somethinh else to show for all the billions JB gave them. So far, new shepperd is it and it does not deliver any payloads

I think this is insightful.
It shows what happens when a young modern company is put in the hands of someone who shaped Honeywell technical culture.
Delays, bureaucracy, and legal challenges.

Just visited Glassdoor and sure enough the CEO approval rating is 15 percent for long time Honeywell leader mr smith. Search for blue origin. Scroll down … there it is.

Clearly mr BS failed to hire the reputation management firm Honeywell uses to post thousands of fake Glassdoor reviews.

Looks like a direct quote from CNBC article.
Expect mr smith to exit blue origin very soon.
Given the animosity he generated with the nasa customer best career move is probably a book trash talking bezos.

Headline — blue origin losing top talent. Many versions of this actually list the people that have left.

Gotta call BS on this one. Glassdoor has CEO of Honeywell over 80% approval. So OP's post doesn't hold water anyway you look at it. Either Glassdoor is completely off base, and thus you cant trust it's rating of Blue Origin CEO, or Honeywell is a super wonderful place to work. Pick your poison...

These ALT clowns only know one very simple formula and apply broad stroke to everything. Why? Because they are not leaders. They are bully's who got 15 minutes of fame and got lucky

I wonder, what Honeywell percent is for their chief executive office (C.E.O.)

Hopeful it’s not in negative range. - 93% unfavorable rating.

Just a joke, let’s don’t go nuts over protecting your precious. Like lord of rings.

Stay cool my fellow Honeywell kool-aid employees. Your precious has higher rating than this. My guess is 35% approval rating. Wonder if I’m right!
