Why is this even a topic of interest. Chevron has “forced” me to get vaccinated against at least a dozen things over the years: yellow fever, small pox measles booster and god knows what else, but my vac book runs two pages. I have been happy to be protected as I have moved between assignments and never heard any complaints from coworkers about these jabs. Why is the COVID jab different than the rest for so many people. I struggle to understand.

If the jab doesn't prevent you from catching it or spreading it, then what's the booster going to boost?
The bottom line is that if you need to travel or want to travel, especially to African areas, you will be required to get jabbed multiple times.
@OP, stop trying to hijack the forum board. We can all read about vaccines and vaccine efficiency all over the internet, so you can find your answer somewhere else. This is the only place where we can discuss work-related issues.
Making it mandatory in Chevron is a work-related issue that affects all of the employees, asking why the half of the world’s population doesn’t agree with you is trolling and steering the p-t.
@OP Most if not all the posts are coming from the same (ani-vaxx) poster. Look for the absurd number of downvotes on all replies that point out the vaccines are safe and highly effective.
You’ll have to ask the person posting why (or if) they believe what they say they do.
"The jab" is just what management was looking for - something to distract from the Transformation, Agile, Re-imaging, Triple Crown, D&I, MARC, and all the other MR/JG/RM/JJ failures. Oh, yeah, and that really strange "co-management" with the Microsoft CEO.
