I recently heard that Cenovus employees on the cold oil production side are going to receive a $30k bonus…and contractors get nothing. Anyone else heard anything about this?

Contractors dont usually get bonuses. Its normal at many companies. To bad but its kind of the way it roles.
Since when does a contractor get a bonus anywhere!
Why would contractors get a bonus? They never have, never will, because they are not employees.
Contractors still farther ahead , that 30000 bonus isn't worth all the hoops you have to jump through to be an employee, friggen goals and Bo's and the extras management throw at you
They receive a higher hourly rate because they are using their own truck/fuel/tools. Paying for their own repairs/tires/oil changes..etc. I’m pretty sure when it’s all said and done..what makes it into the bank (if anything) at the end of the year is probably close to the same. Except contractors don’t get bonuses, benefits, or a retirement package.
Must be nice.
We get nothing once again. Time to leave
That is correct. But contractors already receive a higher hourly rate, so I'm not feeling sorry for them.
