Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Use Loudspeaker to voice your RTO concerns

As has been announced in recent townhalls, Loudspeaker is a program that allows employees to voice feedback that will improve the bank, customer experience, and/or employee experience.

Don't assume that your feedback will be viewed as redundant. More of the same feedback will more accurately reflect how many employees are legitimately concerned about RTO.

20,000 of the same feedback will garner more attention and likelihood of action than 200.

Simply take the same amount of time you would to voice your concern here.

Agreed, and while this should probably be placed in the Official RTO Master Thread, it’s a good general topic to be put up. Thank you OP, truly a breath of fresh air!

I have always felt our return to office plans were rolling along pretty slow, and we should already be there. This will give me a great platform to air that opinion. Hats off to thee!

@ktk+1cnfrVYb I35 is the interstate that connects the Minneapolis, Des Moines and (soon to be ) Dallas hubs. All area 002 differentials where the 001 and 000 displaced jobs will be adsorbed.

Minneapolis and Des Moines produce better educated persons to be hired and a large percentage of the desirable, for hire folks are transplants from those two areas of the country.

A bonus is they don't have the snobbery of either coast.

@dhp Easy for you to say. It's taken us over 8 years to get our EGS FTE's comfortable/confident enough to make their own decisions. If the long-timers quit, we'll be back to square 1.

I'm much more concerned about AI since it could easily take over our jobs with about 6-12 months of training.

When I RTO, I am excited to do the stuff which I haven't been doing since last March 2020 - collaborate

  • work along with my partners

Which I was probably not doing, however the bank still made $ profit which is surprising!

If your job can be done remote from the US that means it should be easy to move it over to India.

Not sure who all you know, but we are squeezed in like chickens in a coup in our department. Most of the people I know are very concerned.

@tjs

What's "I35"?

Is that a little highway somewhere in flyover country?

I'd rather voice my concerns on an anonymous message board and complain with others who feel my pain.

You might as well stand along I35 and shout and holler your concerns. It ur----e into a strong wind, cuz nobody on ELT cares one bit.

I'm not concerned. I have been out and about. Rto should be no different.

Most people I know are not concerned. It's a pretty small but vocal sample size on this board so have at it but don't be too disappointed if nothing comes of it.
