I'm hoping we get some more info about RTO this coming week, but I know they're probably just going to give us snippets of information here and there. Whether we have to go back to the office full time or even make it hybrid any time soon is going to be the deciding factor for me in whether I plan to stay or leave. Not knowing what's happening for sure has me stuck in limbo.

Google is leading the charge , WF is not far behind. Google employees go back mid October.
Why are you stuck in limbo? You do realize that most big companies are following each other in regards to rto? What makes you think the grass in greener where we all get to wfh forever.
It doesn't matter where they work. You can't get data off your laptop without being caught.
Maybe I'm old school too, but I would prefer that people in charge of trillions of dollars work somewhere more secure than their rec room/home office/dining room table.

Charlie was indoctrinated under the old-school “butts in seats” leadership style. That probably tells us everything we need to know, unfortunately.
Not sure what you're expecting when the whole covid thing changes from day to day. If you were hired to work in an office, you'll probably be back in an office sometime soon. No real mystery there.
I'm operating on the assumption that we're returning to office full time, then any time we're able to wfh will be an unexpected benefit.
