I'm tired of people who've been at HON for a year or two or three coming here and complaining about the company and anything and everything related to it. Why did you apply for a job here? Why did you accept it? There is more than enough info online right now to show you EXACTLY what the company you are considering joining is like. If you did the bare bones research you would know that. So you either did know and joined anyway or you didn't even bother to check it out - in each case, it's your own damn fault!

I wish I knew about this website earlier. Anyways I didn’t stick around for long as I realized that this is not the right place for me.
They applied because Honeywell management lied to them and made it sound like the company wasnt horrible and dumpster fire.
@qyr / @OP, we are obviously not so easily controlled and it's getting you worked into a lather. You exemplify what is wrong with the company.
This is the 21st century. Going to work should not have to be like going to w@r every day. We should not have to s*ck it up and endure poor treatment from the likes of you just to be able to feed our kids. I was going to say "and have a decent life", but I find that impossible at HW. The expectation of working 55+ hours a week for a 40 hr paycheck, putting off medical care because so little is covered by what passes for insurance, and on and on, it's all written on this site...does not support a comfortable lifestyle.
It's a pity that you do not have the self-esteem to stand up and say "This s*cks and I'm not gonna take it any more", but many of us have reached that point and have acted on it or are about to, and for you to keep ragging on us is nothing short of comical. There will be no HW logo on your gr@ve marker, so why continue to be their willing tool?
What a sour pu-s. This site must be hitting the HR, MM and ALT nerve…gotta luv the truth…
The smart solution, @OP, is for you to stop coming here. Your insistence does not change our reality.
You cannot "correct" us, so since you're so good at what you do, why don't you just get back to doing it and quit slacking around here.
Haven't hear that since the Simpsons. We'll done Di-kens fan
The garbage posted by the lickspittle must be removed.
Seriously?! You're going to blow a gasket. Relax and chant with me!
It's not a question of failure to succeed as an employee, it's a matter of deciding not to put up with poor treatment, lack of investment, and unrealistic expectations from the company.
It is the fault of any one that fails to make themselves successful within a successful corporation. You are the only person that can make you fail succeed. If you can let others control you, then you are the problem.
tbf, it's not the younger or newer employees on here with the loudest voices. it's the oldest and longer employed.
you won't like this comment, you'll downvote the heck out of it, but that doesn't make it less factual, just read the post histories.
I checked this site before accepting the offer and (erroneously) concluded that the problems were all at Aero, which I was not joining. I already knew that many companies employ third party "cleaning services" for Glassdoor reviews, so took those with a grain of salt.
It was a good short-term career move, however I've worked at enough other companies to recognize a cr*ppy one once I'm there. And the thought of having a colleague like @OP underscores the fact that it is not a company I could recommend to anyone.
LMAO!
Someone really triggered this HR/management/brown noser Karen!!
Worth the read just to get a Monday morning laugh...
Human resource or management leave the forums. Must be mad that we are not drinking Kool-aid.
Oh! Yeah!
Sounds like HR is trying to come up with a reason why so many people are leavening
So what is your point?
It is the young persons fault for taking the job.. and by reflection it is the 5+ yr veterans fault for allowing a culture like this to fester.
The veteran could act by organizing labor to change working conditions. They could make the massive offshoring public so that US purchasers have informed choices about the brand.
This site helps both of those actions, even if small.
Make no mistake , I agree with you.
You sound like a veteran so It must be your fault.
