From Level 2 to Senior your pay increase will be on average 5.5%. I know this from having been an Aero manager. Look outside Hon and you’ll get a 25% salary increase. You may have to move outside the Phx/ Tempe area. Just do it!

I went from an engineer III to senior engineer a few years ago, before they renamed engineer III to advanced engineer and got 4%. I went lateral recently and got 5%. The only way you'll get more is if you've regularly been working 50+ hours per week. It seems that 20% more labor for even 10% more pay is not a fair deal.

The word “senior” for Honeywell employees is like “super” in super hero. When everyone is super is anyone a hero?

If you don't interview for the job you are not moving up.

"Maybe ask somewhere other than a layoff site."

Bitter, party of one, your table is ready.

The only person that can make any difference in your bump in salary would be your manager. You should have this discussion with him/her.

I'm a retired manager and the ceiling on salary increases for a job level bump was generally about 10%. This is for your average salaried worker.

However, the salary bands have a large overlap in salary between the different job levels. If your current salary level was already at the 50th percentile of your new level you might only get a 3-5% bump.
