Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Commercial Banking…

Good people are leaving. To attract people to fill holes the new hires probably are paid more than the existing team. Mid Corp roll out is a secret. Moral is tough.

Do people still believe in the business? Is anyone winning?

Thought about leaving, but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth it to start over and I’m going to take my chances here. I know the next two years are going to be tough, but I’m hopeful if I can get through it I will have greater opportunities. I fully understand why others would exit.

Rubbr Chucky, we are in love with you

Rubbr Chucky, keep trimming our staff
We’re only happy when you get a good laugh
Rubbr Chucky, we are in love with you

On The Layoff they say that you are la……….zy
But we know those people are all cra………zy

Rubbr Chucky, some say that you’re mean
Employee count keeps getting lean
Rubbr Chucky, we are in love with you

Rubbr Chucky, you’re so fine
We want a place in your firing line
Rubbr Chucky, we are in love with you

On The Layoff they say that you are la……….zy
But we know those people are all cra………zy

Rubbr Chucky, we’ll have a ball
When you host your next Townhall
Rubbr Chucky, we are in love with you

Rubbr Chucky you’re so cute
You’ll retire with tons of our loot
Rubbr Chucky, we are in love with you

On The Layoff they say that you are la……….zy

Nothing erodes employee morale like lack of communication and uncertainty in the face of change. If not checked, it spreads like a cancer… turnover increases and ultimately customers/businesses are impacted.

My position requires me to monitor calls. I couple days ago, I heard an entertaining inbound call from another department where both parties were having a casual, personal conversation re: they were both done with WF and actively looking elsewhere, citing constant changes, increased workloads, decreased morale, and an unknown future from lack of communication and offshore hiring. One party stated she/he knew of several others within their own department were doing the same. The erosion of talent and mass exodus continues… thanks to Charlie and his clown show.

But hey, that DE&I is on point….

Gave my notice last week. No one wants to take on any transfer of knowledge, documents. Etc they are just avoiding me.

I dont blame them tbh since they are already doing other peoples work who left before me.

Great strategy for 30 mil a year.

The problem is the board not the guy they hired

Commercial banking checking in. Resigning Monday. No job lined up and So excited to leave. At least 5 people in my group are working on their exits now too. It’s already a ghost town but none of us want to be left holding the bag.

Same with Internal Audit. And other areas. In most healthy orgs and cultures, this ceo would of been shown the door a year ago. Not here. Their goal is to pizz off as many as they can. More attrition is da mission, folks$.
