Someone here mentioned that they heard that severance packs have been drastically reduced. I hope that's not true. Am I missing something?

That is an absolute lie about the so-called '7 year employee'. They are blowing smoke up your a-s because you are clearly that gullible to believe something such as this. Just a tip: it would be illegal to do this. Stop being an id--t.
I was paid out 3.5 weeks
Can someone answer what is the package now 1 week per year 2 week per year 3 week per year 4 week per year (what is the new Cenovus standard) since the old Husky standard is out now
The only reasons someone wouldn't get a severance after 7 yrs are:
- Fired for cause
- Not an employee
Many long term contractors, especially in the field. They are not employed by CVE rather have their own companies or work through a third party company and would not get a severance package.
There isn’t a next round. It’s a series of minuscule drive-by layoffs affecting a majority of teams in the company.
I guess everyone will find out in October when another round layoffs begin!!
f*ck off already with the BS
The first 2 round of layoffs were brokered by legal team for the Husky/Cenovus takeover now the packages will be Cenovus only at there discretion.. One operator in Edson area 7 year employee released under Cenovus got no package ( a stelar employee who was well liked)!! Zero Zero Zero. Hope this is not the standard now.. I would like a descent package if I am let go...
No you're completely wrong and stop posting over and over the same fake concern..
