something is happening this week for sure. I received a text from fedex that I'll get a delivery on 8/16 from Wells Fargo. The package is only .20 ounces so the only thing that light is paper. I wish all of you well. Either way my family will be fine. Relieved.
Hearing that marketing is safe still. Not sure why. Looks like all we do is redundant busywork to me. Not going to argue though. Too busy interviewing.
Even if I don’t get laid off there’s no opportunity here.
I heard August was a break month for layoffs, and they would start back up in September.

It’s happening and all front line FTE will be very surprised once it starts. It will not be announced but will be noticed when looking at the org chart over the next 8 weeks.

@zii+1cjePHSK there is nothing to hear about SORM since it has not existed for a number of years now. Don't worry if you are part of the home mortgage area you will be sold off with the rest of it in the next two years. East coast banks don't have mortgage divisions.

All I know for sure is that if the Displacement Team is involved, it will be a cluster and not go smoothly. Good luck my friends, the next 14 months are going to be savage. Even after that no one is "safe", but at least there won't be a company wide mission of slashing staff.

Quiet before the storm which has been confirmed for 8/19. Names have been finalized, packages all done done. Delivery phase next week culminating in announcements starting on the 18th with the main show on the 19th.
