Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Federal and Arizona Pandemic Unemployment benefits

Back during the pandemic in April and May of 2020, Honeywell furloughed us in Arizona for two weeks. Per the CARES Act, I filed for unemployment in Arizona for those two weeks. The compensation was suppose to include benefits from the state and the Fed. Sixteen months later, I'm still trying to get those benefits from the AZ Department of Economic security. Every time I call them I get a different excuse and run around. They have worn me down and tired of the BS. I don't know how much is at stake and if it's worth the hassle. My question is this: Did anyone else in a similar situation receive unemployment benefits for those two furlough weeks? If so, how much? Please let me know so I can decide if it's worth the BS and hassle. Thanks.

I contacted the AZ Treasury Department and asked them how pandemic money was delivered and dispersed in our state and haggled them nicely about not being able to obtain funds. Then they contacted someone at the Non Answering Intentionally Confusing Institution who got the money. I heard back within a few days and they fixed it on a call... Not pro or against Gov Ducey, but he has to intentionally keep this mess rolling. I have a friend who was RIFFED and never received a penny and I think is is intentional. Try going through the AZ identity site for the Biden pandemic money. I told them I am filing a police report because they "lost" my fax with a license number, photo etc, AFTER completing AZ identity check. Now they want me to email it to an unsecure address. If you are looking to steal people's identities, consider working there.

It was reasonable honest question. I appreciate the answer. After the furloughs I was laid off and then retired. There always has to be a couple di-ks on this forum.

Western coastal states were worse. People were simply told there was no money. At least you got a BS excuse

It was an additional 600 per week added for Pandemic relief added to the normal amount of unemployment you would have received each of those weeks. I think max was 240 so it would have been an 840 a week payout.
