It is very sad to see this show . The man is in a large empty NYC office talking ad nauseum about all of us coming back to work.
He has no technical degree or any fundamental understanding of technology. His cronies from JP are now crowding all key tech roles. When he goes, the entire regime would collapse. Will be a sadder outcome really.
Every AMA I think the same thing -- this SVB is a pleasant fellow -- but how in the world did he land the sweet gig as a Top Tech Executive at WF?
two very funny comments made by Saul:
- console laps that log into an instance of your desktop in the cloud (ahem mainframe/pc anywhere rebranded idea) is having major problems with the role out to workers in india - saul said on the call that is why they rolled it out to india first, so it didn't impact the workers in the US (LOL; so how is that diversity working?)
- diversity mentorship programs - saul says: mentorship program is having problems because they gave minorities too hard of tasks to be promoted into leadership positions (LOL; reread that logic there for a minute. Is that his cultural bias working?)

It’s cronyism and corporate nepotism.
American capitalism is a whole different form than the real thing. Only in America do the elite get rich at the expense of the working class. No one has the disparity between the CEO and average worker that we do, and definitely not the same attitude. Too much me versus we here.
Most people don’t have millions from his daddy to start his own business and go bankrupt four times.

It's called capitalism - feel free to leave and form your own company and become a billionaire. Use your vacation time. Nobody will thank you for not using it.
I’m glad I left tech because everyone in my old area got laid off. Now they are scrambling over there because the people left have no idea how to complete their tasks. Go figure.
Every time I read these, I am so glad I got out of technology. What a s**t show.

@zxh, I so agree. These privileged white old men have no clue to reality. JS does the same thing. Those two are cut from the same cloth. The only difference is JS takes a sip of his sparkling water.
Why do our leaders start their meetings of how life has been good to them, vacationing here and there, went to Spain and the Netherlands, whereas here am I, seldom leaves my house, no vacation plans due to how difficult my life has been. With the meager pay I get, I am living pay check to pay check and it does not inspire me to hear leaders about their vacation. But I am glad he spoke about more clarity on RTO. Let me take a sip of my cold coffee before I rant more.

No more cubes even if you are FT work at the office. And if the entire idea to return was to be with co-workers (a lie) to collaborate, why only 2 or 3 days a week. And take away your pc once it gets at end of life - never mentioned allowing you to keep it. SvB is a bean counter/accountant; he's the same guy who went to contractor firms and wanted them to give money back, then works to eliminate contractors. Not a guy I can trust. As he works in an empty office - that is a clear message.
I am not sure what this clown is still doing here. He must be BFF with CS. The need to bring real Tech Leader. There is so much talent out there. Let’s bring in someone from Google, Amazon, Microsoft to name a few. We don’t need a Project Manager or Accountant running IT.
