Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

How much do others motivate you to leave?

I would never have stayed at Mondelez if I wasn’t close to retirement. Sometimes I even feel like leaving, despite my situation, because Mondelez is sinking painfully. Those who say that their lives have completely changed for the better after they left - I believe them. Unfortunately, it seems to me that even these many positive examples do not motivate people enough to try and get out of here.

its hard to make changes, and thats always been true. i dont know how close to retirement you are obviously, but i encourage you to try to cut ties and go. this site is a great mystery to me and i post comments that im hoping someone might benefit from. i left, im old enough to retire and im on medicare but 6 months from being able to draw the max on my ss. ive been working to pay off debt and saving money and i left as soon as i saw o could afford it. after a couple months im soon starting a new job {within 2 weeks} that has nothing to do with cookies or grocery stores and im happier than ive been in yrs.
the mystery i spoke of is that when i read comments about "cheerleaders" and folks who feel like for whatever reason they are smarter than anyone else, i wonder if theres any hope.
being anonymous isnt always a good thing, because it means no one really takes out opinions seriously
