Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

This place always wants something from you, it never ends

Every time you get the forced Develop You trainings done, they dish a few more out. The latest is this week's family relationships training rammed down our throats. I don't care anymore! I don't have anyone in my family or close friends that work here.

Never have I worked anywhere with so much BS bureaucracy and petty trainings in my life! The next one in a month will be training on how to wear a mask for RTO, how to not touch the elevator buttons w/o a special tool, and how to clean your shared cube. Get out of here!

I totally understand the complaints of too much training -- though I realize most of it is required for compliance purposes. That being said, I did see the value in this particular class; I've seen several instances of flat-out nepotism and cronyism in my part of the organization, and folks have just always looked the other way.

Just took the class. Most WF compulsory training is irrelevant to my function, so very low priority. Incredibly invasive and I question it’s legality. Policy does not trump civil rights. Expect rampant non-compliance and lawsuits. Lots of lawsuits

I don't disagree with some of what the OP says, but wow, he/she/they really think the world revolves around them.

Sorry for your discomfort, we'll all try to ease your pain.

When our group moved out of Risk, the number of required courses plummeted. Training volume and subject matter actually feels reasonable now.

Works for regulated entity, doesn’t understand why there are regulated courses…

In the past they released all the classes at the beginning of the year. However, people don’t know how to be organized so they left the classes until the end of the year. Then either whined about having to do ‘all these classes at once and burn my pto and deal with year end and blah blah blah’. So leadership listened to these complaints and staggered the classes throughout the year so people wouldn’t be burdened with the year end push. Now they complain the courses are throughout the year. Can’t make it up….

I wonder if Chainsaw will be disclosing all his "personal relationships" under the new policy guidelines. If I have to disclose that my ex-partners uncle works for a different LOB in a state 500 miles from me (seriously, wait until everyone takes the training), then I expect Chainsaw to disclose ALL of his "personal relationships". I understand some relationships need to be disclosed as they are true conflicts of interest, but this new policy is beyond ridiculous.

At least the two mentioned courses apply to everyone. What drives he nuts is the courses that wouldn't apply in any circumstances. 1st world problems, but it's annoying.
