Every day I am so very thankful that I got laid off several months ago. I am even happier now. I cannot imagine myself ever working for DXC again. Fingers crossed for all of you wanting a WFR call.

I was a number 3, but as I have just been offered another job with higher pay, more pension and holidays, I will be leaving.

Number 5: A former DXC employee but now a subcontractor whose journey with DXC is coming to an end in a couple weeks! Can't wait to be disconnected from the sh!tshow for good. May those who are left working from the US and UK run quickly to the exits, and help the company complete its goal of moving all jobs and operations to India!

Type 5: the employee that watches the carnage unfold. The employee that does not want to fix the situation. The employee that watches how DXC's "leaders" continuously fumble around with this intractable clusterf*ck that is DXC. The employee that stands back as these leaders show to the professional world that, they, truly are not genuine IT professionals and do not understand this business.

These people are no leaders. They have been promoted beyond comprehension and beyond their true ability, merit, and passion - meaning that they were never fit to run a company in the first place. Not then, not now. All because of the borderline narcissistic nepotism that is rampant within this company, and the IT industry as a whole.

@2pia+1ch0WMvY No *F U some of us used to work for decent companies who outsourced their IT to the st sw that was CSC, its not our issue that CSC / DXC are shockingly bad.

Some of us want what we are entitled to by law.

In the US you're also better paid than quite a few other countries.

There is another, the EX-DXC employee who comes back here to help persuade others - for a majority, life in another company will be a dream!

To survive such a cauldron where you pick up many roles (because that team got the bullet) as well as maintaining your deliverables is training you cannot buy! Take that ability to adapt and prevail and drop into a 'normal' company it creates a superstar, compensated as such too!

So next time you are trying to access process, team, tool that even school boy/girl ISMS demands.. Stop, get on the phone to agents, talk to real people! I find that surprisingly, the old fashioned phone is more effective than 13" screen for these type calls.

Many are stuck through 'habit' or lack of confidence no doubt 'Stockholm syndrome' may even come into play! I am 57 years old but still consider myself 'fluid of mind' and adaptable and I was rotting at DXC - for many reasons too numerous to type here.
I took probably 18-24 months to find another role, life is better now that work is fairly compensated and appreciated.

If I can do it, many others can too. Make a plan, execute and then come back here and share with others!

"F U with the WFR/redundancy cr-p. We in the US where the company was founded only get a max of 8 weeks".

Seems to me your issue isn't with DXC its with the USA.

I am number 4, close to retirement and just doing the bare minimum to almost nothing to get my pay check, Health Benefits and 401K match. With COVID delta going up you can't really do much anyway, so might as well stay home and collect the money
