There is another, the EX-DXC employee who comes back here to help persuade others - for a majority, life in another company will be a dream!
To survive such a cauldron where you pick up many roles (because that team got the bullet) as well as maintaining your deliverables is training you cannot buy! Take that ability to adapt and prevail and drop into a 'normal' company it creates a superstar, compensated as such too!
So next time you are trying to access process, team, tool that even school boy/girl ISMS demands.. Stop, get on the phone to agents, talk to real people! I find that surprisingly, the old fashioned phone is more effective than 13" screen for these type calls.
Many are stuck through 'habit' or lack of confidence no doubt 'Stockholm syndrome' may even come into play! I am 57 years old but still consider myself 'fluid of mind' and adaptable and I was rotting at DXC - for many reasons too numerous to type here.
I took probably 18-24 months to find another role, life is better now that work is fairly compensated and appreciated.
If I can do it, many others can too. Make a plan, execute and then come back here and share with others!
