Knowing nobody here has any job security and could be laid off next week, what would you take to leave? Would you take a pay cut and give up your bonus if you could still make six figures and pay your bills for something more stable? And it gets you out of banking.

Why would anyone care about the answers to this question? I don't even care what my own answer would be, let alone someone else's. Lock it up mods, and let's get back to real information.
Speaking as someone who just left.. you don’t necessarily have to take a cut. The job market is on fire right now. I found something quite quickly that pays more. Yes I lost the 401k match and yes I’ll lose the wells bonus this year, but the salary change made up for it.
If you’re not looking and want to, don’t let fear of missing out on the match or the bonus stop from at least exploring your options. You may be pleasantly surprised.
