Bu-----t. I received the largest raise I have had in over 10 years. It was about half that.

Stock options is just transfer of money from my pocket as a shareholder to your pocket without my permission. Options dilute the stock. They put regulations around it to attempt to down deferred exec compensation but it largely failed

Those options are unlikely to pay off more than a raise at a new employer.

For the CEO to say things like “we raised ..” publicly when it was actually business as usual could be considered misleading for investors.

Somebody teach our leader how to use Twitter so he can enlighten us with fake news 50 percent faster than last year.

I got retention stock options to stay for three more years. Not sure it’s worth it

10% only meant for selected individuals such as those that didn't get sufficient adjustments last year but are considered SPOF.
Its all for good but nothing unusual especially when we paid out none in 2020 and probably made more in the side with retrenchments. How else did we best the earnings reported. Tech and manufacturing companies like Honeywell can only boost up their numbers by cutting their costs to increase their margins. And, thats what wall street loves companies like us as the fat man makes some pretty penny in others misfortunes.

Meanwhile my vendors refuse to ship for lack of payment even though honeywell has billions in the bank. Big guy stepping on little companies for leverage.

I think that the 10% increase DA was referring to was if you had to travel during Covid. Which I did. It helped that I was working around 70 hours per week, so I got a decent bump. But then 2% raise this year after having nothing the previous year shows that they don't give a hoot. Especially given Hwell has been beating earnings every quarter. That helps leadership more than it helps workers. By a large margin!

I’m sure it’s some screwed statistics because they are masters at manipulative data to suit their needs

1+1 = whatever they want it to be

Don't vote "elcheapo" down for their comment in @1vop .
That is a copy / paste quote from the article.
Yes, that is exactly what DA said.

I drink Kool-Aid. Oh yeah!

Your fearless leader speaks. So it Has to be true, Honeywell would never lie.

Here we go with the three blind mice again. New lyrics:

Honeywell blind mice, Honeywell blind mice,
See how they run, see how they run,
They all ran after the Darius Adamczyk,
who claim they raise their pay by 10 percent. In reality they reduced your pay by 20 percent.
Did you ever see such a thing in your life,
As Honeywell blind mice?

Of course he has to say that. He can't find id--ts to work for him anymore given the toxic environment he created. And maybe some naive punk will apply now .....
So glad I am out of DA's snake pit

Has anyone reading this post received a 10% raise? I, and everyone I know, got the standard 2% annual salary adjustment which did not even keep up with inflation. DA also talked about treating suppliers better in the same article which is also total BS.

Honeywell has raised wages more than 10% to keep factories staffed, redesigned products to use more widely available chips, consolidated supply purchases at the corporate level to gain bargaining power and extended purchase commitments to a year instead of the usual three months to guarantee it can get components.

I just read the Bloomberg article and am floored. 10% increases? Maybe in India or China, but certainly not in the US! And after RIF'ing so many talented individuals with nary a look backwards? This guy is drinking his own bathwater. Shame on Bloomberg for doing zero fact checking, although I expect as much from any MSM outlet these days - they're all terrible!

Whenever this dude is on TV or in an article, the comments are jaw dropping. It’s painful to think these media outlets do not do ANY fact checking in what’s said. Maybe they are paid to go along, IDK? They literally publish what he says, no questions asked. A few months back after Aero laid off a massive amount of talented people he told CNN he can’t find skilled labor to hire.

Bloomberg article. Total Crock of Sp-t. It is worded in past tense as if this sphincter clincher has already doled out this money to "Retain employees" when they are actually bailing out at an increasing pace.

Adjusted for inflation were we all doing much better prior to 2020. I'd like someone to convince me otherwise. No raises last year and a measly 2% this year. At least in the past we could count on wages keeping pace with inflation. In AZ Hon employees used to earn a decent living wage. Not so much anymore. More of my co-workers are living paycheck-to-paycheck now. Next year it will be the same mediocre budget for merit increases if we are lucky.
