Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Love to see it

Attrition is reaching critical levels and I can't wait to see what happens when they realize there's nobody left to do the work. I'm here for it. Honeyhell doesn't deserve anything better!

Attrition is worse than I ever imagined it could be. Lost almost 50% of our team in 2 months. Hiring replacements isn’t going well either since we have a no remote work policy and are unwilling to pay market ranges.

At Cedar Creek Olathe there is hardly a day that goes by where I don't hear of another person who gave notice!!

When they announce the Jab Mandate next week, then you might as well ask the last person to shut the lights off at the end of shift!

I know a guy that just stopped doing any work at all and never told anyone that he quit. He continued to get paychecks until mid-year review time. Total genius

I too feel sorry for some of newbies who don't know any better for joining HON thinking they are going to get career out of it. Same for some of the lifers who don't know anything else and will go down with the Titanic.

As for me, whether RIF, mandate, or a WFH job, I will be gratified walking out the door without giving notice as my final act of retribution for all the lies and harassment endured from management.

Attrition reached critical 5 years ago.
Old news made by someone who thinks we are still in the engines/oil/avionics business.
We aren't in those businesses any more. The aero and uop sites are underfunded zombies pulling the last bit of oil from the wells.
Get over it. Move to a new industry.

Nobody is buying airplanes due to pandemic.
Oil is climate change public enemy #1.

If you need to get a pension in aero go to guidance and nav.
Weapons never go out of style.

I love hearing in meetings that they can't even hire anyone anymore. I guess the word is out that HON is the place to avoid if you care about your future. It's the equivalent of the Titanic. Even as the whole company continues to sink and people are jumping ship, they want to still bring in new, unsuspecting people that don't realize the ship is already sinking.

And some of the drones left behind continue to say wow why we can't get any good help
