The front-end team lead should get more than 19 dollars because they are the first to be called for everything. so they should be paid at least 25 dollars an hour. other companies are paying their front-end leads 25 dollars are more. Sam's club needs to step it up.
All employees will make at least 15.00 an hour! Depending on the level you will make what your minimum amount is! For example if you are making 15.75 for driving a forklift the new minimum is 17.00 ! They will only increase it to that amount! If you get an increase now you will not get the yearly 2%next year! The club manager should be communicating with all eligible employees this week!
the article said fork drivers get a raise... only new drivers?
What the last person said is completely correct. Anyone who was already given the $15 will see nothing. This is a bump for those who didnt get it before. Front end leads will get up to $1 raise. I do not know yet if it will be a whole dollar or if they will merely round it up to $19. Not sure if fresh leads will see a raise. We haven't had our meetings yet. After this weekend they will start. Supposedly.
Sam’s Club is officially setting $15 an hour as its minimum wage, even though 95% of its warehouse club workers are already making that.
The division of Walmart said it also is raising department leader position pay from $18 to $19 an hour and increasing pay for tire and battery center technicians, personal shoppers who fill online orders, and forklift drivers.
About a third (34%) of Sam’s Club hourly employees will see their pay rise on Sept. 25. Starting pay for Sam’s Club now ranges from $15 to $20 an hour, depending on the market and store location.
Sam’s Club will continue with its “SamShare” quarterly bonuses to hourly employees “at this time,” said Sam’s spokeswoman Rachel Nipper.
