When I resigned from Sam's, I was allowed to continue my vision and dental plans for 18 months through Cobra. The cost for my husband and myself is only $55.00 a month. You can, of course, have cobra medical insurance, but that was outrageous. All of your current insurance, through Sam's, ends at midnight on your last day of employment.
