I have to say, I'm not encouraged by what I've been seeing. There are lots of open positions but none offer decent pay and especially benefits. I can see why most of them stay open for a while, who'd want to accept something like that? Luckily, I'm in no rush to quit, but if I was, I don't like the odds of finding comparable employment right now.

Even with experience it is difficult to get hired at other places, it's like you almost have to know somebody there - and in the department you are applying for. Anthem has tons of job postings - however - they are also not filling them - they are getting pulled. I wonder if it's to make it look like they have so many opportunities - but behind the scenes - everything is really going offshore - but they don't want that to be known. Anthem is so shady now.
Look at the other health insurance companies discussion boards…they don’t complain as often as anthem employees which tells you how backward they are.
