I got my manager fired for filing false documents about me. Don't take their BS
Don’t sign it. Don’t let them bully you into it. Start looking for another job or improve your numbers/Quality.
It means your leader has already talked to HR about letting you go and probably received the ok to fire you. This is just a formality and additonal documentation for HR in case they need to build a case against you or you decide to fight your termination.
Pip means get out before they fire you. Even if you sneeze the wrong way they can fire you .. who wants more stress added to a already stressful place . Move on!
If you’re on a PIP your manager has already decided they want to get rid of you. They just have to jump through the HR hoops. Centene HR had to review the PIP in advance so you can be sure it’s tight.
Your best best is to get out ASAP.
If you want to play ball, document everything. Every meeting, every Skype convo. Keep detailed records of your progress and be sure to share it with the manager.
Good luck.
A PIP is a performance improvement plan given to you by HR and your manager that you need to sign. Whatever you get on one for you need to keep your head down and meet whatever you're not meeting by any mean necessary to get off it. So say its 30 days for not meeting production, you better meet production those next 30 days. Then you need to keep on your manager about the timeframe. It takes HR longer so technically if your 30 days is up with improvement but you havent signed off on your finished PIP with again HR and your manager your still on it. If there's no improvement then they will fire you. But when your on a PIP for whatever the reason dont mess anything else up, even things you arent on the PIP for. Just another reason to thin the crowd.
