@1nqt, thank you for your service. BUT....

You signed on for that abuse, knowing it was coming. That was your chosen way to contribute to society.

Going to work does not equate to the military. Many of us had a different idea of how we wanted to contribute to society. We made different sacrifices (such as 4+ years of college with no money or spare time, student loan debt) to be able to make our contributions in a corporate environment.

There is no reason why self-disciplined line workers and professionals like engineers, accountants, marketers, developers, etc. should encounter abuse in a corporate setting. The reason it happens is because the greed crazed powers-that-be demand more than can be be accomplished in an honest day's work. They demand more, we give what more we can but get to a point where their inflated demands on our work and the compensation they give us for it are so out of synch that we either cannot or will not give any more.

Aggressive management tactics are not necessary when companies plan well, compensate fairly, and provide adequate resources for workers to get the job done.

Just because you chose a rough path in life does not give you the platform to judge us for choosing differently. We did not sign on for deprivation, threats, bullying, inadequate healthcare, crushing schedules, dishonest leadership, and inadequate resources.

We do not get our jollies by being the tough guy and refuse to compete with you in that arena. By choice, not by weakness. By life design. We're not playing the same game as you are, so your blustering, name calling, and defense of a broken system are simply reflections of your failure to "get it".

But again I thank you for serving our nation so that we all have these choices.

If true, leaving off BN or fobbit should cover it. Give our greetings to management.

Comparing voluntary or drafted military service, where you give up your constitutional rights, to working at HoneyHell is mo--nic. You sound like what we grunts called a brown nosing poge or fobbit.

I'm laughing as I read the comments about the "mean leaders that make me feel oppressed, toxic work environment, belittled etc".

I served in the US Marine Corp in the early 90's and still have memories of the drill instructors in basic training and their methods. I remember have to run for hours & hours, the constant yelling & screaming from the instructors, having to wake up during the middle of the night and sent out for more running, crawling and just suffering. It was constant mental and physical abuse simply to find out if you could hack it as a USMC soldier.

A Honeywell manager being mean to me for five minutes? Get real and grow a pair.

Anyone think this site is different then any other? It's HoneyHell. It's always black Monday. It's always heads will roll if you don't fill in blank here___________

AND- It's the end of another quarter kiddies. You all know what that means. Find me sum $$$ at all costs. Work 16hr days until week one of Q4. Then you will be set free to work somewhere else.

Captain Bligh needs bilge rats to keep the Bounty afloat till he can get his 3rd quarter bonus and burn down any remaining backlog for the offloading of Cedar Creek at year end.

However, the rats are still jumping ship faster than the temps can bail and he is now reduced to putting help wanted signs on the road. That along with over 100 Vaxx Mandate mates still on the list to be fired.

Any new hires better keep their resumes warm as they are just cannon fodder for the RIFs.

There are already several people walked out of the building by their supervisors for not taking the covid swab tests.
You can see the help wanted sign from 7 highway.
