Stankey agreed to kick 2B over to DTV to offset losses related to NFL Sunday Ticket. Oh well, what's another couple billion at this point.

What was the VIG on this deal to Stankey? No less than 5M I'm sure.
It is interesting how these announcements aren't getting the loyal treatment, internal email/video proclaiming how executives made another genius move.
This is pretty much inline with the T-mo debacle, paying billons for a d-mb move. I feel better now, company really is encouraging us to make mistakes, Stankey is leading example on how to f#$% things up big time.
Stankey should just kick the 2 Billion over to Amazon. Why continue to prop up DTV? Their days are numbered.
Stink could have used that $2B to sure up the pension instead of taking away health care benefits from retirees. But he is a megalomaniac. STINKY STINKS.
And if reports are right,, Amazon just offered the NFL 2.8B to win the Sunday Ticket contract.
There are so many workarounds on the NFL ticket!! It will be non exclusive to DTV in a couple of years!!
Buying DTV high only to sale at a massive loss doesn't sound like a sound stategy, Oh well.
Nothing but a step for a stepper like John Stankey. Buy high, sell low and then give a little bit more. That's LEADERSHIP.
Selling DTV to reduce debt was the grand strategy, paying an additional $2B, sounds like everything is working just fine, nothing to see here.
