Biden to announce that all federal workers must be vaccinated, with no option for testing

" the President will take is signing an executive order requiring all federal workers be vaccinated against Covid-19, with no option of being regularly tested to opt out of the requirement, according to a source familiar with the plans.

The President will also sign an executive order directing the same standard be extended to employees of contractors who do business with the federal government. The Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service and National Institutes of Health will also complete their previously announced vaccination requirements, which the White House estimates covers 2.5 million workers."

When I see "federal workers required to get the jab" I think of the dmv times 5000, and I think for most of them going to get the jab is probably the most they have done for 20+ years.

“ this is bigger than just a vaccination. they are setting a precedence for a whole lot of other things. this cannot stand along with anything else like testing and masks mandates. this has to stop.”

I posted in another thread how this could be used on employees for other communicable diseases and infections and apparently this site got all snowflake bu-t hurt over the specific types of illnesses this same scenario could be used on and the post was removed. If you believe this will never be used in the same manner to dictate treatment or work center obligations on employees with diseases they would rather keep secret, you are fooling yourself. Unfortunately this site is too fragile to allow an honest discussion about it…

From Bloomberg confirmed by other sources: Israel is considering a fourth round of coronavirus vaccines, Bloomberg News reported, citing an interview a health ministry official gave to a local radio station. "We don't know when it will happen; I hope very much that it won't be within six months, like this time, and that the third dose will last for longer,"

Fourth round? Fourth????

I am vaccinated but there is a lot of fake news out there. A lot of my family and extended family are physicians and 99% believe it is in our best interest to be vaccinated. However, they all agree if you have had Covid, you are in better shape then those vaccinated regarding anti bodies. Also, it is not true that hospital Covid patients are mostly unvaccinated at this time. There are just about as many breakthrough cases of vaccinated patients in the hospital at this time. This is reported by 4 different physicians in my family East Coast, West Coast and South East located.... So why does the media keep reporting the majority in hospitals are unvaccinated? It is just not true.

The vaccine protects nobody. It is said to lessen symptoms, but the 411 there is anyone who contracts Covid can I have a variety of symptoms anyways. I will not take anything so casually as people are running in to take this vaccine. If you have a good immuneYou can get past Covid just like I did and others. There’s your natural immunity. AT&T has no business mandating what experimental dr-gs people should take.

Sheeples is a term used by lie spreaders who follow a former incompetent prez - not science. Science changes when additional things about a disease are discovered and is why the messaging from the former Prez stayed a lie. He didn’t want his sheeples to believe he could lie to them (again and again).

If you don’t want the vaccine, walk the talk straight out of your T job if you can’t get an exemption. Otherwise you are just a another complainer who feels entitled to a job just because. The employer sets the job requirements - you either accept it or leave. Employee at Will is real snd T is now using it effectively in doing the right thing to stop the spread.

Respect from me comes when a person walks the talk. Otherwise you are an entitled complainer.

Imagine if Trump won the election and gave the exact same speech Biden did. Most believed that it would take years for a vaccine (CNN). Democrats cried about not taking the vaccine because it was rushed. But now that Biden is president, you are willing to take more pricks than Kamala Harris did to get her job. Lol

The ten points of the Nuremberg Code
The ten points of the code were given in the section of the judges' verdict entitled "Permissible Medical Experiments":[6]

The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. This latter element requires that before the acceptance of an affirmative decision by the experimental subject there should be made known to him the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment. The duty and responsibility for ascertaining the quality of the consent rests upon each individual who initiates, directs, or engages in the experiment. It is a personal duty and responsibility which may not be delegated to another with impunity.[13]
The experiment should be such as to yield fruitful results for the good of society, unprocurable by other methods or means of study, and not random and unnecessary in nature.
The experiment should be so designed and based on the results of animal experimentation and a knowledge of the natural history of the disease or other problem under study that the anticipated results will justify the performance of the experiment.
The experiment should be so conducted as to avoid all unnecessary physical and mental suffering and injury.
No experiment should be conducted where there is an a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur; except, perhaps, in those experiments where the experimental physicians also serve as subjects.
The degree of risk to be taken should never exceed that determined by the humanitarian importance of the problem to be solved by the experiment.
Proper preparations should be made and adequate facilities provided to protect the experimental subject against even remote possibilities of injury, disability, or death.
The experiment should be conducted only by scientifically qualified persons. The highest degree of skill and care should be required through all stages of the experiment of those who conduct or engage in the experiment.
During the course of the experiment the human subject should be at liberty to bring the experiment to an end if he has reached the physical or mental state where continuation of the experiment seems to him to be impossible.
During the course of the experiment the scientist in charge must be prepared to terminate the experiment at any stage, if he has probable cause to believe, in the exercise of the good faith, superior skill and careful judgment required of him that a continuation of the experiment is likely to result in injury, disability, or death to the experimental subject.

Post from TheLayoff.com

Did you realize that the CDC counts you as unvaccinated if you are a few months from receiving your last dose? The nurses I talk to say it mostly vaxed in the hospital. Look at studies done in other countries, Israel backs this up as well. Most in hospital are the vaccinated.
Look at Gibraltar, 100% vaccinated and they had a COVID-19 cases jump 2600%! The sheeples are believing a lie

Two things here. 1) for all those who voted for this dementia person, any regrets yet? First year of his presidency and the man is shown to be a mo--n, liar, wont responsibilities and a dictator. 2) Politico are morns, the case cited is a STATE or local government enacting a mandate. Whomever at Politico writing the article has no clue about separation of powers. Biden is doing a federal mandate. Apples to oranges.

What the he-l does anyone expect. Americans allowed the whole pandemic to be controlled by politics, and since Americans didn't listen to the experts that said the vaccine was the path to get out of this, the president has to do what he is implored by his job description to do to protect ALL Americans from the deadly virus. Just for giggles, I saw yesterday a report that the republican party will lose 900,000 voters by the time this is over next year.

I am growing tired of the common refrain from the dummies..."if the vaccine works, why do you care...?"

We care because the hospitals are overrun with the sick unvaccinated, and it's taking a huge toll on healthcare workers. This is not "made up". In my local hospital 95% of the admitted are unvaccinated. 97% of Covid deaths since Jan are among the unvaccinated.
Seriously, how can you be so ignorant?

Why are you vaccinated people so angry? If you believe in the shot, believe in the science then what the heck do you care if someone else doesn't take it?

Two reasons . . .

First, the vax fanatics overwhelmingly tend to be members of the so-called "progressive" set (or fellow travelers). And, you know, because they're just so much smarter and infinitely more special than everyone else, all the ignorant peasants out there just need to sit down, shut up and do what they're told to do by their betters.

Second, even though they're waaaayyyy too smart to ever be wrong about anything, deep down they have that gnawing little fear that there just might be something to the stories about potential long term complications from the vax, and they just can't stand the idea that other people (i.e their obvious inferiors) might escape them. To prevent that, everybody needs to roll up their sleeve and take the jab.

By not getting vaccinated you substantially increase your risk of getting seriously ill and having to use medical resources where those with other medical needs either get turned away or delayed. In addition, routine medical exams such as mammograms, colonoscopies, etc get delayed while unvaccinated covid patients get treated in hospitals. Vaccinated workers also have to pick up the workload caused by unvaccinated people's illness both in hospitals and at their job. YES UNVACCINATED PEOPLE IMPACT THOSE WHO DID THE RIGHT THING AND GOT VACCINATED!!!! Quit being stupid and get vaccinated

The majority of Americans not only support mask mandates but employer vaccine mandates as well. I count myself among them.

I am absolutely fed up with the temper tantrums from those in the minority who are too selfish to do the right thing. You don't want to get the vaccine you don't have to - no one is forcing you to do it.

Almost all states are "right to work" states (feel free to thank the Republican party for that). Employers can employ you or fire you at will AND without notice as long as it doesn't violate federal law. Get vaccinated or an approved exception! Otherwise thank you for being an employee of AT&T. I wish you the best of luck finding a job with a company that will conform to your demands.

I'm all for getting the covid vaccine where it makes sense, I got mine.
BUT, I'm 100% against mandatory vaccines!

Folks think this is just about this one covid vaccine, wake up!

Dr-g manufacturers have wanted mandatory vaccines for many years, they just needed this pandemic to get enough public support, and once the policies and framework are in place, they'll be pushing many more vaccines and boosters (that you may or may not need) into the mandatory pipeline.
If they are successfull with making this covid vaccine mandatory, you will begin to lose your choice on what future dr-gs are pumped into your body, or your babies bodies.

Knowing the ethics of our dr-g manufacturers, and the fact they are not liable for any vaccines they get approved, this is a very dangerous road we're heading down...
